It’s the Holiday season…and advertisers are settling in to the season of good cheer and gift-giving. MarketCast’s Top Breaking Ads for November reveal the brands that captured attention, delivered strong recall, and made the most impact across CTV and Linear TV.

The holiday season is officially in full swing, and November’s Top Breaking Ads lineup proves brands are leaning into heart, humor, and seasonal storytelling to connect with audiences. From athlete-packed cameos and nostalgia-fueled narratives to adorable pets and emotional gift-giving moments, this month delivered memorable creative across both CTV and Linear.

Dick’s Makes the Nice List – “Dick’s Sporting Goods topped the CTV chart this month with a star-studded lineup featuring Paige Bueckers, Bryson DeChambeau, CeeDee Lamb, and Draymond Green. The playful, athlete-driven spot continued the brand’s winning formula and resonated strongly with viewers, scoring 28% above the CTV norm.”

Dawn’s Ducklings Soar to the Top – “Dawn claimed the #1 Linear spot with a familiar yet powerful creative story. The ad highlights the dish soap’s long-standing role in cleaning wildlife affected by oil spills, reinforcing the brand’s purpose and emotional legacy. It delivered strong clarity and positivity, scoring 41% above the Linear norm.”

Chewy Takes Over – “A consistent top performer, Chewy dominated once again, securing five total slots across the CTV and Linear lists. The pet retailer debuted three new holiday-themed ads showcasing pets getting a little extra love this season. These heartwarming moments resonated deeply, with the top performer scoring 20% above the CTV norm.”

Amazon Sleighs into Second – “Amazon landed the #2 Linear position with a touching holiday spot featuring three older friends reliving a beloved childhood pastime. The ad blended emotion, relatability, and subtle product integration, scoring 24% above the norm.”

Fresh Faces – November also welcomed several newcomers to the Top Breaking Ads list, including Campbell’s, T-Mobile, and Etsy.

  • “Campbell’s warmed hearts with a family dinner celebration centered around its comforting classics.”
  • “T-Mobile brought back fan-favorite duo Zach Braff and Donald Faison for another humorous, quirky moment.”
  • “Etsy highlighted the joy of the perfect gift exchange with a story of thoughtful giving.”
