Great Super Bowl ads don’t just reach—they resonate. It’s not about being the loudest or having the biggest celebrity in the Game. It’s about being unforgettable. MarketCast Brand Effect’s 19,000 person survey reveals the ads that cut through the noise and truly resonated with audiences. Check out the best of the best:
Bud Light Brought the Vibes
Bud Light delivered a throwback party for the ages with “Big Men on Cul-De-Sac.” Featuring Post Malone, Shane Gillis, and Peyton Manning, this hilarious nod to ‘90s dad culture turned an ordinary block party into one of the game’s most unforgettable moments. Audiences loved it, making Bud Light’s ad the Best Ad Breakthrough of the night at 44%—well above the 25% norm.

A Historic Three-way Tie for Second Place in Ad Breakthrough
For the first time in our reported Super Bowl history, three brands shared the runner up spot at 38%. Budweiser tapped into nostalgia with a classic Clydesdale story, this time introducing a new foal to the herd. The NFL’s “Flag 50” took us back to the ‘80s high school era, flipping expectations with a boys vs. girls flag football showdown that had fans cheering.
Meanwhile, Super Bowl newcomer Totino’s scored big with its quirky E.T.-inspired buddy comedy, “Chazmo Finally Goes Home,” featuring a lovable extra-terrestrial (and our favorite Detroiters).

When Harry Met Hellmann’s
Hellmann’s gave us the reunion we didn’t know we needed with “When Sally Met Hellmann’s,” featuring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal recreating that iconic diner scene—this time with mayo. The humor and sentimental throwback resonated across generations, delivering a 37% Ad Breakthrough score, well above the Super Bowl norm. And Sydney Sweeney’s cameo at the end had fans wondering: Could a remake be in the works?

More Favs at the Top
Two very different but equally compelling ads rounded out the top tier. Lay’s warmed hearts with “The Little Farmer,” an adorable and touching tribute to the hard work of potato farmers. Ad Breakthrough score: 36%.
Stella Artois won audiences over with its clever humor, introducing us to David Beckham’s long-lost American brother, Dave (played by Matt Damon) in “The Other David.” Ad Breakthrough score: 36%.
Other notable standouts were WeatherTech’s Golden Girls on a joyride (Ad Breakthrough score: 34%), Tubi’s “Cowboy Head” (we can’t unsee it – Ad Breakthrough score: 34%) and an inspirational message from the NFL (Ad Breakthrough score: 33%).
