The MarketCast Sports Poll (formerly Turnkey Sports Poll), turns its attention to the upcoming, and highly anticipated, NFL season. With 41% of sports industry experts polled by MarketCast expecting the season to start on time, only 25% of them are anticipating fans to be present in sports venues by late December 2020. Additionally, the majority of those polled feel that the US college football season will be postponed to the spring – following the Ivy League, Pac 12 and Big 10’s decisions to cancel many fall sports.

Despite the delays and disruptions to the field of play, sports insiders are still bullish on betting with 75% of those polled believing revenue will increase in 2020 from 2019.

We hope you enjoy the MarketCast Sports Poll. Next month’s topics cover new and emerging sport market hubs. If you have a suggested question you would like to see covered, please contact us.
